By the time you read this post, I’ll be heading home from several days of vacationing near Mt St Helen’s (if she happens to blow while I’m there, this is the last post I’ll ever write…).
Most of today will be spent in the car, with a few stops to stretch our legs and do some light calisthenics (tag around the picnic tables) and maybe a plank or two (the plank police have been on my case lately).
If I were at the gym, today would be leg day. Here’s the endurance leg workout I would be doing. Why don’t you do it for me? Pretty please? I’ll be happy to take the delayed muscle soreness off your hands tomorrow…
Make sure you choose heavy enough weights. If you can get through 40 reps without taking a break, you need to go heavier! Rests are allowed in this type of endurance leg workout…

I’ll put this on my “to do” list – we are vacationing as well in Chicago! It is beautiful here (and much warmer than we are used to). AND, we are staying on Grand Ave….LOL!
I love Chicago! My hubby was born and raised in a suburb just outside. We used to go into the city for adventure! Haven’t been in years; since my inlaws passed away. Hope you’re having fun!

How is your upper body feeling? Nothing on the news about Mt St Helen’s so I am pretty hopeful about your total recovery and longevity!

Upper body is slowly feeling better. We did lots of elevation hiking on holidays, so my legs got a workout outside the gym! And rats, we didn’t even see a puff of smoke at Mt St Helen’s ; )

My intercostals are slowly healing. Amazing how long it takes and how easy it is to re-strain them…
I’m doing legs on Tuesday and this workout will totally kill me!

There’s got to be something in that workout library that you can do without equipment! Burpees, pushups, squats and lunges for sure! Enjoy your visit!
