Tank top Tuesday: tricks for adding shape to your arms

So it’s possible, just possible, that I went shopping at Lululemon last week.

A class participant of mine just happened to be shopping there too. While I was in the change room trying on a pair of Wunder Unders (which somehow, came home with me… can you ever have enough black tights?), she was scouring the sale rack for items that she thought would look good on me. My own personal shopper! How great is that?

She came back with a bright, pink tank top and told me that I should try it on because (1) I wear too much black, (2) it was on sale ($29 less my R&D discount), (3) it was the last one and (4) it was my size. How could I refuse? Thanks so much June!

  2. You are not going to believe this, but I have never purchased anything from lululemon!! I absolutely LOVE there stuff…but I am so afraid that once I start I won’t be able to stop. So instead I pin all of my lulu love and wish it was on my body. Can I get a sponsor or something?! Great call on the push-ups! I need to practice them more often…add to the workout list today.

    • Ha, ha! Lulu is terribly addictive. And they come out with new stuff every time you turn around! The up side is, their clothes are very well made (although a bit lower quality since they left Vancouver…). I have a great tax accountant who works hard to write off my purchases as ‘work expenses’!

  4. I love me some push-ups of all kinds!!!! LOVE! I have so many arm moves I love that I can’t even pick but push-ups make me feel strong!

  6. I love pushups but I am TERRIBLE at them! I need to build up my arm strength. And I’ve never been shopping to Lulu either, but I love the tank top. It looks great! πŸ™‚
